Featherweight Sarah

Sarah Baker, also known as Featherweight Sarah, is an expert on vintage Singer Featherweight sewing machines. She is a talented quilter who teaches others how to care for and service these classic machines. Baker has been a guest blogger on the Singer Featherweight Shop website, taught both quilt classes and Featherweight maintenance classes at Omaha and metro area quilt stores including Celtic Quilter, Fabric Bash, Mangelsen’s, Nebraska Quilt Company, and Bloom Haven in Syracuse, NE. In September 2025, she collaborated with the Nebraska Quilt Company to create an exclusive quilt kit, the Night Sky Quilt Kit, based on one of her favorite patterns. FeatherweightSarah has been a guest speaker at the Missouri Star Birthday Bash in Hamilton, MO, and quilt guilds from Nebraska to Michigan. Additionally, she is co-founder of the Omaha Featherweight Club. She can be found on her social media channels under the name FeatherweightSarah.
