Donna Hawley

Donna Hawley is a mixed-media artist based in Lincoln, Nebraska, who loves blending painting with quilting to create truly unique textile art. Her journey began when she started quilting and decided to “mix it up” by adding hand-painted blocks to her quilts. This sparked a deep passion for designing her own fabric panels and quilt block pieces, combining color, texture, and creativity in every project.

Donna discovered Bloom Haven shortly after it opened in the Fall of 2024 and quickly became part of the community’s creative heartbeat. She now shares her love of fabric painting through hands-on classes, encouraging others to explore new techniques and make their artwork personal and meaningful.
