Spring Forward with Studio 180 Design

CLASS DESCRIPTION
Spring Forward – In this workshop you will learn how to use the V-Block tool from Studio 180 Designs. The V-Block is used in many quilt patterns and the V-Block tool helps improve your accuracy and keep your points when putting the blocks together. Using this pattern, you will make a variety of block sizes showing the versatility of the V-Block. After taking the class you will be able to identify V-Blocks in other patterns and know how to convert the pattern to use this tool. (Studio 180 Design V-Block tool and purchase of the Spring Forward quilt pattern is required for this class)

Required Supplies:
Fourth & Sixth Designs – Spring Forward** included in supply fee
Studio 180 Design’s V-Block Tool** included in supply fee
17 Fat Quarter – mixture of light and medium fabrics – If you wish to have
all of you stars in the same fabric you will need ¾ yard of that fabric.
Rotary cutter with a sharp blade and cutting mat.
Optional Supplies:
Studio 180 Design’s Tucker Trimmer III**
Acorn Easy Press Pen and Fabric Treatment**
Invisigrip (This will be used on the back of the Studio 180 Design tools)**
Glow line tape**
Strip Stick**
Basic Supplies:
Sewing machine in good working condition
¼ inch foot for your sewing machine
Basic sewing kit – pins, small scissors, seam ripper, thread, etc.
Small iron and ironing mat.
** These will be available for purchase at class.
$50 Supply fee(separate from class fee) includes the Fourth & Sixth Designs pattern and V-Block Tool(If you already have this tool you only need to purchase the pattern). Paid directly to the educator on the day of class by check or cash.
$50 Class fee Must be paid at time of registration.
Class fee is non-refundable. If you are not able to make it to the class you can transfer to another person.
